Services Provided
Individual:
One-on-one service involving counseling to find solutions to deal
with breaking the habit of substance abuse and other mental health related issues
dealing with feelings, thoughts or needs.
Groups:
Focuses on psycho-educational process. Groups are conducted in a therapeutic
setting where each member shares feelings, deals with issues that ordinarily will not be handled by the individual. Most clients find it to be powerful. Among other benefits it gives the client insight about the issues at hand by observing the reactions and input of other members.
Family and Marriage Counseling:
Counseling is provided to individuals, families and couples. Counseling assists in mending marriages and families by addressing issues that are causing the problems. Families are equipped with tools for better interactions and learning to live together harmoniously.
Evaluation and Assessment:
Different assessment tools such as Addiction Severity Index, BHIPS, DSM IV, etc. are used to understand the depth of client problems, and that will help clinicians design good treatment plans for them.
Life Skill Training:
Clients are taught skills that will help them deal with everyday life challenges. The skills include: health, education, financial management, proper diet and hygiene, self esteem, trust responsibilities, ethics, resume writing, job search and placement, interviewing, etc.
